Questing beast

Harvey was looking for a simplified version of the Questing Beast, a cross-animal monster appearing in many medieval texts of the Arthurian legen. He wanted the beast to have snake head and neck, leopard body and snake tail. The beast was his paladin’s mount, so it ough to be lithe, but large enough to be ridden by an adult male. He asked we to sculpt the creature in standing pose and lurking from an elevated stone.

Despite the original design of the Questing Beast was a creature with the head and neck of a snake, the body of a leopard, the haunches of a lion, and the feet of a hart, he just wanted a snake-leopard hibrid.
