Carlos Miguel was in the process of 3D printing a set of Metal Gear figurines in a 12mm scale, but he couldn’t find a figurine resembling the Haven trooper in that size.
He came across our Haven Trooper figurine in a 32mm scale and asked if it was possible to scale it down to 12mm. We managed to do it!
However, it wasn’t as simple as just scaling down; we had to adjust all the proportions and simplify the sculpt. The end result is a tiny, clean, printable, and durable figurine that is easy to flawlessly print at home.
We don’t use to attach the figurines to the base, but this time it was the better option.
