Matthew had two characters that wanted to be represented through the years: Ava, a tabaxi catgirl half gnome, and Ariel, her golddragon friend who adopted a human form.
They both grew together as babies and forged a strong relationship over the years. They wear some kind of fantasy swimsuits.

Ava is a 7 years old tabaxi but due to her half-gnome blood, her height is closer to a 3 year old child.
Her friend ariel is just 6 month old. He’s a dragon that has polymorphed into humanoid, and he’s not good at it yet. He’s trying to mimic the appearance of other Ava’s friends, so he looks like a 8 year old human boy. Well… or something. He has a pair a wings in a odd place, some scale patches here and there, and a long ponytail.
The scene reflects the joy of chilhood and the age of discoveries.
As a tabaxi, Ava is a great athlete. She’s a confident teen.
Ariel, however, is a shy teenager who still doesn’t perfection his magic skills. due to that, his human form is not so human as he wish. He can’t get rid of that his single horn nor his scales and that embarrases him .
Ava has helped her friend to grow and develop his power. Ariel’s magical skills are now so high that his physical appearance is quite older than his real age.
Ava has developed large wings.
